About Me
Acasongs is owned and operated by Brad Stephenson since 1997, when he started singing and arranging with Chi Rho at Wake Forest University. Earlier forays into acapella include a duet version of the National Anthem at a high school basketball game. While an undergraduate at Wake Forest University, Brad performed with Chi Rho and Innuendo and quickly began creating arrangements for all the groups on campus. He continued singing and arranging through graduate school at Northwestern University and the University of Missouri, earning multiple graduate degrees which look excellent framed on his bedroom wall. Over the last 28 years, the Acasongs network has grown and expanded to include groups from around the world and your neck of the woods, including recently adding other production services besides arranging.
What folks are saying
"You've painted a sonic masterpiece. :)"
- Jason Tesch, Electric Audio
"The album is produced and tracked by the talented duo of Derek West and Brad Stephenson [...] who have quickly been making a name for themselves as talented and focused producers of vocal music. The albums I've reviewed by the pair have always been well-constructed; it's clear that they put a lot of work into making their albums albums, rather than just a collection of unrelated songs."
- Nick Anderson-Frey's RARB review of The Life I Owe by Chi Rho.
"Amazing, irreplaceable... incredible arranging... Completely professional and awesome... He puts in gems of comedic and climactic musical brilliance."
- Bethany Green Stuard of Lovejoy High School, as heard on the MouthOff Show podcast.
"Brad Stephenson: freaking fabulous and prolific arranger extraordinaire."
- Christopher Diaz, as heard on the MouthOff Show. Thanks, Christopher!
